Memorial funeral services for Noal Franklin Larson, lifelong Niobrara County resident, were held Tuesday, Sept. 30 at the county fairgrounds building in Lusk. Pastor Mark Lohr of the Lusk Congregational Church officiated. Cremation has taken place and the remains were buried in the Lusk Cemetery.... read more

Robert Arthur Johnson, 83, of Sheridan, died Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2008 in Sheridan Memorial Hospital after a courageous battle against Parkinson’s disease. A police officer didn't think much of a call to shoo off a bothersome "kitty cat" at a home in Casper, Wyo. Then the officer arrived at the home of Beverly Hood. Joseph “Joe” Cedric Raine, 53, of Gillette, died Sunday, Sept. 28, 2008, at Campbell County Memorial Hospital of a “sudden cardiac event,” according to Walker Funeral Home in Gillette. He was father of Cedric Raine of Sheridan. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.... read more
